Church explained that the song is a testament to the power of inner strength. "It's just saying, this is where I'm at and who I am," he said. And it helped my confidence in the studio, because when you don't know where you're headed, you can get pretty insecure."
The song "Sadeness" by Enigma (the one with the chanting monks), got its name from the French novelist Marquis de Sade, who believed sex had to be painful in order to be pleasurable - thus the word "sadism."
