  • F3miii is a Dublin-based Nigerian-Irish singer-songwriter and producer who blends R&B, electronic beats, soulful melodies, Afrobeats, rock, and '80s synth into a distinctive sound.
  • F3miii's stage name is a stylized spelling of his first name, Femi, short for OluwaFemi, the Yoruba name meaning "God loves me" (his full name is Richard OluwaFemi Adebusuyi). He was born and raised in Dublin, and wants listeners to know how to say his name correctly: his Instagram bio was: "pronounced 'Femi'."
  • F3miii's musical foundation was built in church. His mother was deeply into gospel music, and his father introduced him to R&B and pop, giving him a rich dual musical upbringing from the start. He later joined a local gospel choir; he credits those early experiences with building his confidence and stage presence as a performer.
  • When F3miii turned 12, his parents gave him a guitar, and it transformed his life. Rather than taking formal lessons, he taught himself entirely through YouTube videos. He's spoken about the influence of his school music teacher, Mr O'Connor, a traditional Irish music player who regularly appeared on RTE television. Seeing his teacher perform on TV gave F3miii his first concrete sense that music could be a real life.
  • Before going solo, F3miii was the lead vocalist of a Dublin band called GracePark, which was heavily influenced by the hip-hop collective Brockhampton. The band performed gigs all over Ireland, and it was there that he honed his skills as a live performer. He went solo in 2020, releasing his first track independently, a move that would eventually lead to sold-out headline shows and festival slots across the country.
  • F3miii's music starts - and often ends - in his bedroom. He writes, produces, and records entirely by himself, as he demonstrated with his breakthrough hit "Noble." Reflecting on his rapid rise, he told Extra: "This all started from just like an idea that I had in my bedroom. I was like, you know what? I love music. Let me try and do it."
  • F3miii's three all-time favorite albums are Kaytranda's 99.9%, Kanye West's Yeezus, and NxWorries' Yes Lawd!

"My GOATs - these guys completely shaped my sound and inspired me to jump out of my comfort zone," he told Apple Music.

F3miii has also cited Pharrell and Pi'erre Bourne as key influences on his approach to beat-making.
  • F3miii is a Christian, and faith quietly threads through his creative process. Melodies for his songs often come to him in random places, including while praying.
  • Before his music career took off, F3miii ran a Minecraft YouTube channel under the name "Richman Buster."
  • In 2021, F3miii landed a modelling gig alongside his music work, appearing in a campaign for Brown Thomas - Ireland's most prestigious department store.
