Songfacts®:

  • "Que Onda" is a collaboration between Fuerza Regida, Calle 24 and Chino Pacas, released on August 30, 2023 by Street Mob Records. The label was founded by Fuerza Regida leader Jesús Ortiz Paz.
  • The song is about two lovers who are constantly checking their phones and not paying attention to each other. The song's title, which means "What's up?" in Spanish, is a reference to how people use their phones to stay connected with others even when they are physically together.
  • Calle 24 is Diego Millán, a musician from Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. Calle 24 first formed as a group of four before Millán went solo, retaining the name. Calle 24 caught the attention of Fuerza Regida vocalist Jesús Ortiz Paz, (better known as JOP), and signed them to his record label, Street Mob Records.

"Calle 24" is the name of the street where most of the group members grew up.
  • Chino Pacas is a Mexican singer and songwriter of regional Mexican music specializing in corridos. In 2023, Chino Pacas signed a record deal with the Street Mob record label.
  • Calle 24 wrote the foundation of "Que Onda" with his writing partner Miguel Armenta for another group, but when it didn't work out for the band, he kept the song for himself. He then showed the song to JOP, and they recorded it with singer Chino Pacas.
