Songfacts®:

  • Future, Young Thug and guest Offset flaunt on this track some luxury items they've been able to afford:

Ayy, what kinda water is that? It's Patek water (It's Philippe water)
Ayy, what kinda shooters is them? Just place ya order (Thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu)
Ayy, what kinda whip is that? It came imported
Boy, you rocking LeBron's set, 40 pointers

The rappers are referencing the high-end Swiss watch manufacturer Patek Philippe & Co. They're comparing their timepieces to water as an abstraction of "ice," a slang term for diamond jewelry.
  • This is one of seven songs that Southside and his crew 808 Mafia produced for the Super Slimey Mixtape. He recalled to Complex:

"My little brother DY, who is signed to 808 Mafia, he called when they did it. We sampled one of his boys named Bricks, and I made the beat one night just messing around in the studio and he went to the studio with Future when I went home. He called me and was like, 'Offset, Future, and Thug just did a song and it's going to be a big hit.' I never heard the song until it came out. We were recording at least up until three days before it dropped. We were recording so much music that we didn't get to listen to all of the old stuff."
