Every Step

Album: Under My Skin (2018)

  • Gabrielle wrote this track about one of her close friends. She explained to The Sun:

"It's an uplifting song but it's about somebody recognizing that they're going through a bad time in their life. It's about when somebody doesn't value you, sometimes depending on where you are in your life you sometimes don't value yourself.

That song was written with a view that when you're feeling scared, you still have decisions you have to make, but the stars have aligned and you have to recognize that."
