Secret Wings

Album: Stereopticon (2015)

  • This song is about being overwhelmed in the big city, which in this case is New York. It was one of the first collaborations between Jann Klose and Gary Lucas, who both worked on the 2012 film Greetings from Tim Buckley. The song was recorded in New York City at The Maid's Room, an analog studio.
  • The video, which was done by DeAngela Napier, shows contrasting scenes in New York, with hectic shots of traffic and subways offset by tranquil parks and music venues.
