This song was a dedication to Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads, who was killed in a plane crash in 1982. Tommy Aldridge, who was Osbourne's drummer through the Diary of a Madman tour with Rhoads, was also in Gary Moore's band; Randy and Gary were friends and jammed together.
The song was written by Gary Moore and Cozy Powell. Don Airey played keyboards. - Stoke on trent, England, for above 2)
Philip BThere's a studio version on Cozy Powell's album TILT
MrparisienwalkwaysGary Moore wrote this beautiful piece of music. The original studio version can be heard on the Cosy Powell album ‘TILT’. Gary wrote two tracks for the album, the first is Sunset followed by Blister.
Laurent from Manama, BahrainTommy Aldrdige was officially with G Force and not with Gary Moore as such. The only version available, as far as I know, is on the "Rockin' Every Night - Live in Japan", an album that features Gary Moore, John Sloman, Don Airey, Neil Murray and Ian Paice on drums.
