Songfacts®:

  • On an interview on XM Radio, lead singer Sully Erna talked about his fame and how he cheated on his girlfriend for many years while the band was touring. She decided to stay with him, but it seemed like she would bring the cheating up whenever they had an argument. The song is about him saying, "I have screwed up and I have paid for it but you continue to bleed the life from me when you bring the subject up." He gave her credit during the interview, saying that it was a huge pill for her to swallow and he appreciates her for that. >>

  • Luna Loud from Royal Woods, Michiganto Zero: This song has never been played live. As far as I know (according to setlist.fm) the only songs they played live on the IV tour were: "Livin' In Sin", "Speak", "The Enemy", "Shine Down", and "One Rainy Day".
  • Zero from Nowhere, NjSounds like Tony uses a slide to play the solos in this song. Also sounds like Sully would have to play rhythm guitar when they play it live, though I've never seen them perform it live. Maybe it's on You Tube.
  • Jaxx from Manchester, Nhobviosly she would stay with him cause hes got all the money and the hummer, and the mercades.
  • Jeff from Helena, MtHow many songs does godsmack have? i only count 50
  • Nick from Paramus, NjThere is also a Metallica song with the same title.
