  • This is the title track of Haim's second album. The Haim sisters told Entertainment Weekly that the record strips away some of the bells and whistles of their Days Are Gone debut in favor of a more live-band feel. "I played a fretless five-string [bass], and I haven't played a fretless five-string since I was a 12-year-old listening to Korn," said Este Haim.
  • Danielle Haim told NPR the song is "more of an upbeat version" of "Nothing's Wrong." She explained: "It's the answer. It's more of a dance song (we think it's a dance song), [about] finding the strength to end something toxic. It feels like the end of something bad and ushering in a new era. This is partially why it felt right for the title of our album. New beginnings."
  • Este Haim told Pitchfork about her contribution to this song's hook.

"I got to show off my slap-bass skills in the chorus, which is what I not only grew up listening to, but really wanted to emulate as a kid. I was like," she recalled, "I wanna sound like Bootsy Collins, how do I make that happen? So I watched videos of him on Soul Train and basically taught myself how to do it."
  • The song came from producer Ariel Rechtshaid encouraging Danielle Haim to tackle her post-fame insecurities. "She has this newfound confidence," he told Q magazine. "But there's still this doubt and vulnerability that comes with being a woman in an industry where people are looking down at you every step of the way."
