Songfacts®:

  • Scottish DJ Hannah Laing has been ruling the decks with her beats since the mid-2010s. Infused with a burning love for dance music from her parents' own passion, Hannah dove headfirst into the world of DJing and swiftly built a devout following.

After a clamor from Laing's fans to release "Good Love," the DJ dropped a tantalizing one-minute teaser of her anthem on SoundCloud. On May 17, 2023, she unleashed the full version.
  • Barbados native RoRo lends her vocals to the track. The Bajan singer-songwriter has also collaborated with Faithless' Rollo and TYMB Money Man.
  • RoRo weaves a tale of heartfelt and genuine love for her significant other, alongside a heartfelt plea for acceptance and the freedom to embrace her true self within the confines of their relationship.
  • Laing and RoRo co-wrote the song with Paul "Bomber" Harris and James Hurr.

Paul Harris is one half of the British house duo Dirty Vegas, best known for their single "Days Go By." He has also co-written songs for Kylie Minogue ("Timebomb") and Joel Corry ("I Wish").

Hurr's other credits include Anabel England's "Need Me Right" and Tiesto's "Learn 2 Love."

Laing and Hurr co-produced the track.
