Songfacts®:

  • When HiFi Sean (Sean Dickson) teamed up with Fred Schneider of The B-52s they came up with this track about trucking, which like the 1975 #1 hit "Convoy," is filled with CB argot. "Myself and Fred adore trucker jargon and the song is full of it," Dickson told Songfacts. "The video, too, is everything I would want it to be if I was a trucker, which I have wished many, many times."
  • Schneider was one of 13 guest vocalists on HiFi Sean's Ft. album, his first release since 2001, when he was in a band called The High Fidelity. Previously, he fronted The Soup Dragons.
