  • Hoobastank singer Doug Robb's lyrics for this emotional song were inspired by a memory he had of watching a television program one night, which showed a military family of a soldier who had died in combat. It made him think not only of the brave men and women who lay their lives down on the line for their country, but also the parents of those who serve.
