  • Errol Brown told the Mail On Sunday January 25, 2009 about this song: "I went to California for a month to write after quite a barren spell. Disappointingly I came back with only one song I thought was a hit. That was 'Girl Crazy.' Two days after returning, the title 'It Started With a Kiss' came into my head. So I pretend I wrote that in America too, to justify the trip."
