Album: Mi Mandela (2014)

  • This song features George the Poet, one of two tracks on Mi Mandela that the spoken word artist contributed towards. He became involved after Idris Elba contacted him in London asking him to represent Nelson Mandela's oration for this tune.

"I used to watch The Wire, but I knew he'd done music stuff too," George told The Guardian. "I went round his house and we talked and played records – and straight away we got on. He's got that London sense of humor – and if anything, I'd say he's more a music head than a film one."
