  • The second single from Siren Charms, guitarist Björn Gelotte commented to Artist Direct: "There are a few songs that stood out when it came to the songwriting ideas. I think "Through Oblivion" is really cool. It's something we didn't try before. It's a very simple song, but there are elements in it that make it really complex."
  • The music video was shot by Swedish director Patric Ullaeus of the Revolver Film Company AB, who also worked with In Flames on the clip for their previous single. The visual centers on a frustrated office worker, who gets away from it all.
