Songfacts®:

  • Iris Gold wrote "Talk All Night" with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame. Stewart also produced the track and directed the music video.

Gold was signed to Stewart's Bay Street Records label and worked with him at his studio in the Bahamas.
  • In this song, Iris Gold lets her body do the talking, because sometimes you can talk all night and still get nowhere. "Sometimes couples get in a situation or mindset where a conversation drags on," she explained. "One party can hold onto something - a jealousy or a possible problem that may never happen. Sometimes people just need a hug or physical contact. This song, in a cheeky way, reminds people of that. I'm singing from the perspective of the instigator in a way that feels freeing and sexy."
