  • James Blunt sings on this tune about the shallow nature of life in the Golden State. He has his heart stolen after a one-night stand with one of the California "sun-kissed in-crowd" but the girl just flits in and out of his existence. He told The Sun regarding the song; "It's dark and has a feel to it like the movie Drive."
  • Blunt wrote the song with Stephan Moccio and Mozella who also co-penned "Wrecking Ball" for Miley Cyrus. Stephan Moccio also writes for The Weeknd and MoZella has also penned tunes for Madonna, Ellie Goulding and One Direction.
