Songfacts®:

  • "No Bad Vibes" is a collaboration between Jazzy and London DJ/producer Kilimanjaro. The Afro-house tune captures the feeling of being lost in the moment at a rave.
  • Kilimanjaro, whose name alone suggests towering aspirations, is a UK-born producer with Zambian heritage known for blending Afro-centric beats with Western sensibilities. His dark and moody production contrasts with Jazzy's bright and uplifting vocals.
  • Alongside Jazzy and Kilimanjaro, Jay Gilbert, Tré Jean-Marie, Mark Ralph, Nathan Nicholson, and Ines Dunn all lent their compositional skills to the song. The first three also pitched in on production duties.
  • Released on October 18, 2024 as the lead single from an EP of the same name, "No Bad Vibes" quickly found its feet. By January 2025, it had danced its way onto the UK Singles Chart helped by Canadian producer Jayda G's remix.
  • Co-directors Mark William Logan and Jay Oliver Green shot a music video for the Jayda G's remix in Dublin, Ireland. Its stylish aesthetic aligns with the song's upbeat and rave-inspired atmosphere.
