  • Here, Jerrod Niemann is putting his girl at ease, by telling her he's handling things.

    That's right, I got this
Don't got to think too hard
    It's a can't-miss
I know right where to start
Yeah, the only thing I'm needin' is a girl to play the lead
In this cool movie that I'm dreaming of right now

Niemann wants his girl to know that she can sit back and relax as he's in control.
  • The song was written by Rodney Clawson, Luke Dick and Cole Taylor. Niemann told The Boot that he included it on his This Ride album as it reminded him of one of his earlier hit singles.

"I Got This is a song that I didn't write. I wish I would have because it was a lot of fun," he said. "I think it's kind of like Drink to That All Night's cousin, that's further on the outskirts."
