Songfacts®:

  • Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell wrote and performed this song for the Keanu Reeves-starring action thriller John Wick: Chapter 2. He was assisted by music producer and composer for Tyler Bates, who also came up with the score for the film.

Bates said: "Jerry and I are friends and neighbors. We got together to jam and came up with the music. He's a fan of the first John Wick movie and wrote the lyrics from John Wick's introspective."
