Album: Get 'Em Girls (2010)

  • This ode to shoes is the title track and first single from Australian R&B singer and Australian Idol runner-up Jessica Mauboy's second studio album. Her label sent the song to radio on September 17, 2010 and it was released digitally the same day.
  • DJ/producer Shondrae Crawford, aka Bangladesh produced the song, which features American rapper Snoop Dogg.
  • Mauboy told radio station Nova 93.7, "it's about gettting ready and going out with your girlfriends and feeling sexy."
  • The song's music video was shot in Los Angeles in early September and directed by world renowned hip-hop and R&B music director Hype Williams (Kanye West's "Gold Digger"). In the clip, Dogg plays the role of a designer-shoe salesman, whilst Mauboy is seen strutting down a runway, wearing a selection of heels including pink Alexander McQueens and high Christian Louboutins.
