Songfacts®:

  • In this song, Justin lets a girl know that they could have a future together - provided she keeps it quiet. They are the only ones that need to know, so if she Tweets about it, it's over.
  • A bonus track tacked on to Bieber's debut album, "Kiss and Tell" was co-written by August Rigo, who also wrote the songs "U Smile" and "Stuck in the Moment" on the album. Rigo was working with Musiq Soulchild when "U Smile" made its way to Bieber and L.A. Reid (a honcho at Def Jam) enlisted him to write more tracks, including this one.
  • August Rigo wrote this in Miami with the production team The Runners (Andrew Harr and Jermaine Jackson). The brothers Andre and Sean Davidson, who call their team The Monarch, also worked on the track along with Bieber, who is credited as a co-writer.
