  • Justin Moore wrote this tune back in 2013 or 2014. He shared the story of the song on Taste of Country Nights:

    "I don't write well by myself, those types of songs. I can write super traditional stuff, that's kinda what comes out of me naturally. That's a little more progressive sound. I wrote that with my producer, Jeremy Stover, and a guy who does write kind of stuff well, Ross Copperman."
  • Moore already had the title and Copperman came up with the track. "It kinda just fell out of us all instantly," Moore recalled. "It was one of those songs... some of them you bang away at for two or three days, and some of them take a half hour, and that one was kind of the latter."
