The lighthearted music video, directed by Joseph Kahn, shows several people going through their daily routines -such as showering, cleaning, working in an office, and waitressing - intercut with Clarkson singing live. Clarkson's brother Jason makes a cameo appearance as a guy in a restroom. Kahn also directed the clips for the singer's "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "Never Again," and "Already Gone."
Stephens Stills played timbales on the Bee Gees hit, "You Should Be Dancing." He was in the next door studio laying down a Crosby, Stills and Nash album and could hear Saturday Night Fever being recorded. Stills recognized its potential to be a monster hit and he wanted to contribute.
