  • This is the second single from R&B singer-songwriter Kelly Price's sixth album, Kelly. The song features production and vocals by Mint Condition's Stokley Williams. "This song literally wrote itself, which happens to me every once in a while," Price explained. "The melody came to me first and then I envisioned a live band to truly impact my audience and that's when I called up Stokley. We made this song to encourage lovers to get back to being lovers. Stop parenting one another and just love each other."
  • Price, who has been married since she was 19, told Billboard magazine the song came to her as she was cleaning the house. "I was literally singing something I didn't know," she said. "So I stopped, sat down and got the song out. It's not based on one particular incident. It stems from the experience of being in a long-term relationship and how easy that dynamic can change when kids come into the picture."
