  • Born in South Africa and raised in Southampton, England, Kenya Grace grew up listening to the soul music played by her parents.
  • Kenya Grace penned her first song in her bedroom when she got her first keyboard in primary school. "I think the chorus went something like 'notice me,'" she recalled to Liquid.
  • She first realized she wanted to be a musician in college. Grace swapped courses from history and English literature to just do music.
  • She studied music production at the ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Guilford, Surrey. After graduating from ACM in August 2019, Grace released a series of standalone singles and collaborated with underground acts such as Homebodi and 3Strange.
  • In 2023, she signed with Warner Records' flagship dance label Major Recording and released her debut single, "Strangers."
