Vocalist Crispian Mills told Artist Direct the story of this song. "That actually came from my 5-year-old son, who was chuntering something and I said 'what are you singing?' and he said 'that's my song.' and I said 'what is it?' and he said 'it's called here come my demons. 'And I thought this is such a brilliant title and I was inspired to write that. I've taken a lot of good ideas from him. I'm having to negotiate some kind of licensing ownership with him. I negotiated to buy him out for about three bucks."
"Cleveland Rocks" was written by an Englishman. Ian Hunter wrote the song after touring America in the late '70s and finding that Cleveland was by far the most receptive city to his brand of Glam Rock.
