Songfacts®:

  • This was the only unreleased song that Gaga performed on her 2010 Monster Ball tour. She penned the tune with her former boyfriend and producer Rob Fusari, who has credits on five of her tracks, including "Paparazzi." The studio version leaked online on June 25, 2012.
  • The lyrics describe the relationship the singer had with Lüc Carl in 2007 and, in particular, the love her boyfriend had for his watermelon green Chevrolet El Camino, whom he called Nadine. The Born This Way track "You and I" was also inspired by Gaga's onetime beau.
