Songfacts®:

  • Laura Welsh penned this song along with Jonathan Lipsey, who has previously worked with Sugababes ("Overload", "Run For Cover"). It was produced by Greg Kurstin (The Shins, Beck, Lily Allen) at his Echo Studio in LA.
  • Welsh explained the song's meaning: "Ghosts is about learning lessons from situations and overcoming them instead of being pulled under," she said. "To let go of the past and flick the switch on to the future."
