Songfacts®:

  • Lukas Graham frontman Lukas Forchhammer wrote this guitar-driven ballad about his love for his longtime girlfriend, Marie-Louise "Rillo" Schwartz.

Cause you still look perfect as days go by
Even the worst ones, you make me smile
I'd stop the world if it gave us time

"I think everyone that's been in a relationship for a long time has those days where like, you can fight, but she's still going to come in with a cup of tea or a sandwich, or you'll fight and I'll go shop and I'll still bring her that magazine I know she likes," Lukas Forchhammer told Genius. "She didn't ask me to get it, now I'm just getting it because it's there and I know she doesn't have this issue. When you're arguing, the fact you can still be nice to each other even if you've just argued, or you can be mad at her but still be nice to her."
  • The song debuted at #1 on the Danish Singles Chart, giving Lukas Graham their sixth chart-topper in their home country. It also reached the Top 10 in several other countries, including Malaysia and Norway.
