• Mark Ambor grew up just 40 minutes north of New York City and has been creating original music since around 2017. He is known for his unique raspy voice and lighthearted storytelling lyrics. Ambor's music leans towards pop with a focus on relatable themes.
• Ambor's musical journey began with piano lessons at age 7, but he temporarily quit because of classical song limitations. Later, he rediscovered his love for music, taught himself songs by ear, and even started writing his own material.
• A turning point creatively came when Ambor wrote a song during a challenging time in his life.
  
  "I was home alone, my friends had left for school, I had just broken up with my girlfriend, I was scared about leaving, and overall I was feeling really lost," he told Naluda magazine. " So I decided to write a song. I recorded it on voice memos to remember it and went to work that night."
  
  Encouraged by his parents' positive feedback, Ambor realized that music was his true calling.
• Ambor found initial success through demos and covers shared on platforms like TikTok, where he has amassed a significant following. He released several singles, including "The Long Way," "Fever," and "It's Us Again," which all found impressive streaming numbers. Ambor's big breakthrough came when his single "Belong Together" went viral and charted worldwide.
