  • This club jam was released by Melanie Amaro as her debut single after winning the first season of X Factor. Livvi Franc, who is a British singer-songwriter of Barbadian descent, penned the song. Her other credits include Kelly Clarkson's "The War Is Over" and Britney Spears' "Trouble For Me."
  • Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, who has previously worked with the likes of Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber, produced the song.
  • The song chronicles Amaro's rise to X Factor fame. "I've walked the longest road so don't fail me now, feet don't fail me now, I've never got this close so don't fail me now," she sings. Amaro has said that she is drawn to songs that reflect "real life scenarios." She explained: "I look for songs that are connected to real-life scenarios - love songs, break-ups, getting hurt, finding the strength to keep on pushing in life."
