  • This was the debut single from Michael Jackson's 2001 album, Invincible.
  • Jackson teamed up with Fred and Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels and Nora Payne to pen the song. Jackson and Rodney Jerkins manned the production desk and between them played all the instruments.
  • In the UK this was kept off the UK #1 position by Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head." It did reach the top spot in France, Hong Kong, Portugal, Spain.
  • The comic actor Chris Tucker featured in the spoken-intro and also starred in the video, which was based on a story written by Michael Jackson and the promo's director, Paul Hunter. Michael Madson played the love interest and the clip went on to win the 2001 NAACP Image Award for Best Music Video.
