Meth Labs & Moonshine

Album: Hillbilly Hustle (2015)

Songfacts®:

  • From the "hick hop" rapper Mini Thin comes this menacing track about life in West Virginia, where crystal meth, moonshine and Oxycontin are part of the culture.
  • Rappers have never been shy of courting controversy, but the controversy over this track is a little contrived.

When Mini Thin and his team decided they wanted to film the video in a real courtroom, they went through the proper channels.

Later, Hancock County Sheriff Ralph Fletcher said he was under the impression a documentary was being made - as opposed to a simulated invasion, albeit with fake guns. One of the stars was an actress named Jennifer Blaze; there is a porn star with that name, but this is probably controversy enough. >>>
