Vocalist Mark E. Osborne explained the story behind the track to Kerrang: "The song's about a breakup I went through. It's about missing that person and wishing things could have worked out differently. It was one that stood out to us quite early on when we were writing and demoing the new album: we always had a good feeling about it. I'm really proud of it."
Pete Townshend never had a #1 UK hit with The Who or as a solo artist, but he did produce and play on a song that hit the top spot there: "Something In The Air" by Thunderclap Newman, a group he assembled.
