  • Marcus Mumford came up with this slow-churning rocker. Bassist Ted Dwayne told The "That was something that Marcus had been playing around with for ages. He was really excited about this very melodic bassline and that was a really fun one to record."
  • Lyrically, this is about a deceptive and dangerous woman. Snakes have been associated with vindictiveness since Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Hence, a person with snake-like eyes can seen as untrustworthy.
  • The song was released on April 20, 2015 in advance of the Wilder Mind album, when a live performance of the tune was posted to YouTube.
