Songfacts®:

  • This melodramatic ballad finds a suicidal Naughty Boy contemplating if the girl whom he loves (she may or may not be his ex) will know if he jumps from the hotel's top floor.
  • The song features Ed Sheeran, whom Naughty Boy had been friends for several years prior to recording Hotel Cabana. "When I had my album, I just knew I should have a track with him because he's a great songwriter," he told The Source magazine. "And I presented him with this idea…'Imagine you're the guy that…'"

"His song is like the moral of the story, basically," said Naughty Boy. "His song is like, when you're at the top floor of this hotel, you've got everything. You're in the penthouse suite."
