Songfacts®:

  • The second single from Needtobreath's 2007 album The Heat, this reached #9 on the Billboard Triple A Radio chart and #86 on the UK charts. The song also peaked at #69 on the Hot Canadian Digital Singles tally.
  • Vocalist Bo Rinehart wrote the song on the road, missing home desperately, but also, trying to be strong for his wife back home. He explained on a Reddit AMA: "The band was on the road constantly, and at times, it felt like we knew any other city better than our own. I think the song was as much an encouragement to me as it was a plea to our families to hang in there a bit longer."

"I love how this song can take on different meanings depending on a certain individual's experience," he added. "We've all been there when we feel like we have the best intentions but the dream gets side tracked by the journey and we just need more time to get it right."
  • The song featured in the 2007 film P.S. I Love You and its soundtrack.
