  • Nick Cave (From The Sun March 7, 2008): "'Midnight Man' was the first song I wrote (for the album) and, in some ways, still sounds like an older Bad Seeds song."

  • Mickey Knox from Crowleyville, WvI'm surprised that nobody has commented. I really don't have a clue what this song is about but it could be about a vampire or some other creature of the night. I quess the only person who really knows what the song is about is the writer himself. Please excuse the rambling but I have been on yet another drinking bender. Nothing goes better with good music than a high gravity beer and/or a couple of shots of Kentucky (or Tennessee)bourbon whisky.
