  • This was written and recorded by OneRepublic for the soundtrack of The Giver movie. The Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep-starring motion picture is based on Lois Lowry's 1993 American children's novel set in a seemingly perfect community.
  • OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder said that writing a track for the movie was a personal project. "The Giver is a favorite book of ours and we're all incredibly thrilled to see it brought to the big screen," he said. "It's a huge honor to contribute our music to a movie that's not only an amazing story, but also has a cast of actors that we admire so much, like Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep."
