Songfacts®:

  • The song title is a quote from the band's producer Rob Mathes, when he was explaining to them about a pretty girl.
  • Guitarist Ryan Ross told VH1: "I came in to the library one night and Jon (Walker) was playing drums. I just picked up the guitar and started playing the opening riff, and we all really liked the feel of it. We finished it within two days. It was one of the fastest songs we've ever written. We wanted to capture the rawness of it. On the record it doesn't sound perfect."

i think its about how some people are so obsessed with remembering times and trying to live in the past: "film the world before it happens".... just live int he world now and leave your camera at home
