Songfacts®:

  • Pink wrote this slow-cooked rocker with the British musician/writer/producer Eg White in his home studio in London. White has worked on #1 albums by British singers Duffy and Adele and has co-written a number of Will Young's hits including "Changes" and "Leave Right Now." Pink said of her collaboration with the Brit on her website: "It was my first time working with Eg White and I just adore him. He's eccentric and messy and f---ing awesome. We worked in his basement while his wife would be cooking dinner upstairs with their three babies and I just loved it. It was really inspiring and a great change of pace - different people, different energy."
  • This song is about an acid trip gone bad. Pink warns on her website, "I used to be into a lot of crazy s--t. Acid's the most awful drug ever. Don't take it. But, that song is also about losing control and how easy it is to lose the plot in life and teeter on the edge."
  • This appears on Pink's fifth studio album, Funhouse. The album, featuring the hit singles "Sober" and "So What," was a #2 hit in the US and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010.
