Songfacts®:

  • This is a cover of a Fleetwood Mac song which originally appeared on their 1979 Tusk album.
  • This is a collaboration with the folk-rock trailblazer Linda Thompson, ex-husband of Richard. Frontman Bobby Gillespie explained to The Sun July 11, 2008 why they decided to team up with the folk legend. He said: "We wanted somebody with a real deep, dark soul and Linda was perfect. It turned out that Rab (my manager) went to school with Linda's brother and we got in touch. When I spoke to her, I discovered she was a fan of Primal Scream. Honestly! Then she came down to the studio two weeks later and she was f--king amazing."
