Songfacts®:

  • Prince Royce recruited fellow Latin artists Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull for this track, which was released as the second single from the bachata singer's first English-language album. The trio also recorded a separate bilingual version for the Spanish market.
  • Jennifer Lopez recorded her breathless vocals in the studio with Prince Royce, whilst Pitbull sent his by email. Royce recalled to Artist Direct: "Pitbull was in China when I sent him the song. I texted him and was like, 'Dude, check this out. I want you to jump on.' I sent it to him and he texted me at 4AM that night, talking about 'What's up, dude! I finished the song.' That is cool, right? It is in English, but it has the Latin feel to it."
  • The trio performed the song on the season 14 finale of American Idol. (Jennifer Lopez served as a judge on the singing competition show).
