  • Yamagata penned this song during the starlight hours of the early morning. The Woodstock singer-songwriter told Spinner: "'Starlight' is what happens when you write at 4 in the morning during a storm with a newly discovered drum loop ability and you envision yourself in a pair of swanky heels at a euro dance club physically releasing whatever demons hang around an obsession that you no longer wish to have."
