Songfacts®:

  • Randy Houser wrote this for his fiancée, Tatiana. He explained to IHeartRadio: "That's just basically very autobiographical. It's the things that I felt when we first started dating, and I literally wrote it then. So it made its way to the album. All of it's very true.

Sometimes, as men, it's kind of hard to express yourself verbally. But, the best way for us to do it as songwriters is in song. So, it's a way that we can say things without sayin' 'em. I mean I'll say 'em, I don't care, you know, I'm man enough to do that. But, it's just a true honest moment on my album."
