  • Speaking to Mojo in a 2017 interview, Randy Newman said this track, which concerns a patient in the mental hospital, whose sister absconds with a white millionaire wearing blackface is the one he's most proud of on Good Old Boys. "It's from-the-heart weird," he said. A white guy pretending to be black because people are after his money? Nuts. Southern nuts."
