Songfacts®:

  • Scotty McCreery was dropped by UMG Nashville in early 2016. This was the first song he wrote after leaving the label. He told Billboard:

"I was still at a pretty low point. Still no label, still didn't own my songs. And I wrote that song like, 'I got faith. We're gonna come out of this alright. Just gotta pick yourself up by your bootstraps and move on.' That's where that song came from. I just wanted to write about where I was at in life."

  • Susieq from NcMr Scotty McCreary: I do like your song lyrics and rhythm to that song, "Seasons Change." I felt like I was travelling through a calender in time. Proud to say that you are also a NC native. Stay happy and strong. :)
