I Am Your Man
by Seal

  • This is the lead single and one of two new songs recorded by Seal for his 2009 greatest hits collection, Hits, the other one being his cover of Sly & the Family Stone's "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)."
  • This song is a cover too. It was penned by legendary Motown songwriters Ashford & Simpson for Canadian soul band Bobby Taylor & the Vancouvers, who took it to #85 on the US singles chart in 1968.
