• UK R&B and rap artist Season 25 began releasing a string of singles independently in 2023. He kept up that momentum over the next few years and dropped "Shotta's" on September 25, 2026. By mid-October, it had passed 5.1 million Spotify streams, helped along by Snoochie Shy playing it on her BBC Radio 1Xtra show. The track debuted at #38 on the UK Singles Chart dated October 22, giving Season 25 his first UK Top 40 hit. It also topped the Official R&B Singles Chart.
• A "shotta" is a Jamaican Patois term derived from "shooter." It originally referred to an armed gangster or gunman, but it has also taken on a more affectionate meaning among friends: a loyal member of the crew, someone you can count on when things get complicated. That's how Season 25 uses it in the line "All my guys are arrive cause they all shotta, shotta's."

• In the song, Season 25 gives his friend Joeldo some unwelcome advice about his girlfriend. She is unfaithful and interested mainly in his money, yet Joeldo continues showing her off "like she gold," apparently too soft-hearted to recognize what's going on. The chorus urges him to let her go because "she breaking windows," a relationship that is doing more damage than good.

Season 25 contrasts Joeldo's predicament with his own approach to life. He is busy chasing money, popping bottles and partying in the club until morning with "a fine-ass model." Women who "keep on stressing out my head" are given short shrift. In this world, loyalty among the guys is worth keeping; a troublesome romance, by comparison, gets tossed aside.
